Thank you to all who came out to our social last week! It was great to see many new faces and familiar ones as well! We hope you all enjoyed the food, each other’s company, the games and the prize draws. Congrats to all the raffle ticket winners! Remember, there is still another social coming up at the end of the season, so if you didn’t get a chance to come to this one, make sure you save the date for our next one!

This week we’ll be playing some volleyball, soccer and benchball.
Important announcement for the volleyball games: the location has been changed to Hugh Boyd Secondary in Richmond starting at the same times. Please make a note of that. Also, a new rule has been added for volleyball stating that substitutions can only be made in the back middle position. 
Another important announcement: The Benchball venue has also been changed to Norquay Elementary school. Make sure to go there for your game.

Make sure to sign up for Run for H2O happening on June 16 @ Riverfront Park. We hope through Anthony and Hosea’s sharing, they have inspired you to raise funds for the water project in Guatemala and also to do the run together as a big PentaSport team.

By popular demand, the PentaSport swag store has opened back up! There are also new items in store so make sure you check it out at https://pentasport.myshopify.com/. Again, all proceeds will go toward Run for H2O. The deadline for orders will be May 11^th.

The sun is out! Hope you all had a chance to enjoy the sunshine over the weekend. Thanks for the great handball, benchball and soccer games we had last week. Be sure to check out the pictures, there are some great action shots! An early reminder to teams scheduled to play volleyball on May 1^st, that the location has been moved to Hugh Boyd Secondary School. There were some issues so the SFX gym could not be used. We hope you understand.

There are no games scheduled this week because it’s our mid-season social! Thank you to all who have bought tickets to this awesome event. If you haven’t yet, it’s still not too late. You can still purchase tickets online at https://pentasport.ca/social-tickets/ or at the door the day of the event. Again, tickets are $12 ($6 for league reps/photographers). The social will be held at Polish Community Centre (4015 Fraser St.) from 6:30 pm – 9:30 pm. We really hope you all can come join us for a night of food, games, prize draws and an opportunity to meet some new friends!
