PentaSport Ministry is officially expanding. Over the past 8 years, God blessed, and continues to bless, PentaSport Ministry. From a simple idea of gathering people to play sports, PentaSport has multiplied beyond our imagination with 18 seasons, from 4 to 20 teams, and more than 300 players.
We are expanding PentaSport with the addition of a new volleyball league. This is a pilot season where we will test this league out to see how it will work. Since this is the first season, there are many things still to work out so things may change. Here are some details:
League Details:
- Tuesdays, Jan 9 – Mar 12, 2024 (10 weeks)
- Vancouver Christian School (VCS) Main Gym
- Intermediate (described in the rules & regulations)
Registration Details:
- Open from Dec 10 – 16, 2023 (details to follow)
- Lottery-based selection of teams
- Open to all current or previous PentaSport churches
- Captain must have previously played in PentaSport
- For the pilot season, only 1 team per church with a maximum of 8 teams
Fees:
- Team fees are $750 due January 2nd via e-transfer
- Deposit of $100 required upon acceptance into the league via e-transfer
