Facility and Equipment Requirements

To create a safe and healthy environment for the PentaSport community, we will work closely and collaboratively with our facility partners. The following outlines some of the additional steps and precautions we will take at our facilities and with our equipment.

  • Prior to booking and securing venue rentals, PentaSport will request and review venue COVID-19 protocols to ensure they support or are aligned with this Return to Play plan. In particular, the Organizing Committee (OC) will inquire about facility traffic plans, shared facilities, and cleaning protocols.
  • For venues with seating and spectator areas, they will be designated as closed. No spectators will be permitted.
  • For venues with changing rooms, participants will be dissuaded from using them and asked to arrive in appropriate attire for the session. 
  • For venues with water fountains, participants will be dissuaded from using them and asked to arrive with water or other fluids in personal bottles which are clearly labelled/recognizable.
  • Communal surfaces will be cleaned regularly by League Reps (LR). Consideration will be made to reduce the number of touch points.
  • Equipment, and shared equipment in particular, will be minimized and considered in the planning stages of the session. If equipment is used, they will be sanitized by League Reps before sessions, midway through the session, and at the end of sessions.
